THERE IS ONE more week to experience the striking interior that designer Hélène Benhamou has created for public display in Paris. Benhamou is the Moroccan-born co-director of interior design group Benhamou designs, which has offices and studios in Sydney, London and Dubai. With a global following, Benhamou creates glamorous and luxurious spaces for private homes and leading hotels around the world.

For Paris, Benhamou has worked closely with collectible design gallery Carpenters Workshop Gallery and the fine art gallery Perrotin, to conjure, in a historic building, an interior where painting and sculpture sit easily beside sculptural furniture, in a unified whole. Here she demonstrates to potential clients that striking contemporary art works and cutting-edge examples of collectible design can help create dynamic yet harmonious interiors, heightening the impact of historic detailing and bringing the past into dialogue with the present. With a view through the windows of the Eiffel tower, what could be more romantic!
