AS THE WHOLE of Europe seeks ways to support the refugees fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Polish designer Marcin Rusak and his studio have just launched their online initiative, International Creatives for Ukraine.

This online charity auction, running on Instagram until 31st March, gathers works by widely acclaimed creatives such as Formafantasma, Faye Toogood, Bethan Laura Wood, DRIFT, Martino Gamper and many others.

The proceeds from the auction will go to one of the leading NGOs supporting refugees, Poland-based Fundacji Ocalenie (Rescue Foundation). The organisation offers help to refugees and migrants in Poland by providing them with support on all fronts – from organising housing and distributing food and essentials, to assistance with paperwork and integration into local communities.

Alongside individual designers and private collectors, some galleries such as Sarah Myerscough Gallery, Egg Collective and Spazio Nobile have donated pieces, as well as architectural products manufacturer, Brent Dzekciorius Dzek. The list of collaborators so far, is below.
